Rushes, VO takes, music, graphics, project files. One homebase per job, and you stop thinking about where things go.

Rules file most of it on arrival.

Extension and filename decide the folder, using the template you picked. Nothing moves until its copy has finished.

Footage splits by camera.

Each clip's own metadata names the camera it came from: Sony and Canon sidecars, Apple and GoPro metadata. A whole card dump moves as one piece.

What no rule recognizes waits in the review queue. File the same name to the same folder three times, and the next one files itself.

Clips your edit uses stay put.

Before every move it checks your Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects and Resolve projects. If an edit uses a clip, that clip stays where it is and nothing goes offline.

Questions

Which editing apps does it work with?
Sorting works whatever you edit in. To keep clips your edits use from moving, it reads Premiere Pro (.prproj), Final Cut Pro (.fcpxml), After Effects (.aep), DaVinci Resolve (.drp, .drt) and FCP7 XML project files. With Resolve running, it can also ask Resolve directly which clips your open project uses. That needs external scripting turned on in Resolve's preferences; otherwise it falls back to reading .drp exports. The check only runs while Resolve is open, nothing leaves your Mac, and you can switch it off.
Is this AI? Where do my files go?
No AI and no cloud. Everything is based on file extensions, your naming, audio and camera metadata read from the files, and rules you can edit. Your files are never uploaded anywhere.
What happens to files it doesn't recognize?
They stay where you dropped them and appear in the review queue, so nothing disappears somewhere unexpected. It never guesses where a folder belongs either.
macOS says it's from an unidentified developer.
That's expected for an independent app outside the App Store. Right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. You only do this once.
Which Macs does it run on?
It's a universal app, so the same download runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. A Windows version is on the roadmap.
What if I'm offline?
Once activated, it keeps working offline. It checks the license again when it can, and gives you 14 days between successful checks.
